Manifesto: Honest Environmentalism
30 Aug 2012

Why do the people who trust the science that brings us customised mobile phone ring tones, coffee grinders, foot spas and tasers, deny the same scientific methods that show no evidence of human-influenced global warming? Rather than ignoring the facts, the Green PITA must start cross-party talk on how to protect Antipodes Islanders from the increasing risk that "saving the planet" poses.
1) avoid facts and scientific reason: persuade people with emotion and anecdotes
2) people always mistakenly assume things were better in the past, so fear, uncertainty and doubt are your best arguments
3) all corporations and right wing governments are evil
4) use palatable euphemisms (for example "climate change" instead of "irreversible catastrophic anthropogenic global warming")
5) sound bites and slogans are more powerful than reality
6) never let the unvarnished truth get in the way of a good press release
We all know that climate change (aka irreversible, ) could cause sea level rises up to 10 m sometime in the next century. There's a risk of this message going stale because of overuse of the words. So here I provide a thesaurus of that can be used in association with CAGW
